Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Bedfordshire Council, Adults Learning Disabilities Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Utilise their operational experience and knowledge to contribute towards the commissioning of existing and new learning disability services
• An area of focus will be to undertake a programme of service reviews to ensure that the care and support is proportionate and to ensure services are achieving value for money
• Post holder will be expected to support a full range of commissioning activity whilst ensuring effective partnership working that adopts a whole system approach
• Contribute towards shaping the local market that responds and delivers creative, innovative models of care and support that delivers positive outcomes to our local population whilst achieving value for money
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
