Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, West Midlands Council, Children's Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team

Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team

The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager

The responsibilities will include:

• Home working entirely (office space if they would prefer to work on site)
• Max of 20 children caseload
• Experienced assessment practitioners to complete robust, clear cut analytical court ready assessments in a timely manner
• Full induction and system training
• Full management support and regular supervision
• Access to e-learning, Research in practice and Community Care Inform to enhance L&D offer for all interim workers
• Mental Health and Emotional wellbeing support for all workers including interim
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract at least
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
