Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Wiltshire Council, Adults CTPLD Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Mental Health Social Work team

Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Mental Health Social Work team

The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of people who suffer from mental health illnesses under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager

The responsibilities will include:


• Support teams are locality based and offer social work and occupational therapy services to those who require longer term social care support
• Working with individuals and communities to promote resilience, independence and wellbeing is our top priority
• You will be a formal assessor for newly qualified social workers undertaking Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
• Manage a caseload of work and use person centred practice principles to assess, support plan and review with the aim of promoting well-being and positive risk taking
• Liaise with other professionals
• 36 hours per week(flexible by negotiation)
• 2 Month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
